The Elemental crew was out spreading the joy of kiting at the annual Harvest Festival at Suncadia near CleElum Washington. We had a great time and met a number of people excited to discover a potential new pastime, and quite a few eager to rekindle an old passion.
The question of the weekend was “When was the last time you flew a kite?” I was pleasantly surprised to hear quite a few responses from people who had recently been able to get out and spend some time with the wind.
We met a happy young creature who was entertaining himself by running back and forth between the playground and checking in with his parents who were also vending at the festival. We referred to him as Spider-Man because of his amazingly painted face. On Sunday Mary Elizabeth gifted him a Bora 2, it was so much fun to watch him run and play and learn about the ways he could enjoy the kite that afternoon.
